There are lots of ways to make the most of your RCI Points Membership, and in turn make the most of your timeshare ownership and the wonderful vacation options it brings through RCI. Here are a few of our top tips:
Borrow from your next Use Year
If you don’t have enough points in your current use year balance to book the Exchange Vacation you really want, you can borrow points from your next Use Year to top up your balance.
Remember this doesn’t mean you’ll have to miss out the following Use Year – there are many ways to utilise your points and lots of ways to enjoy your RCI Membership and vacation options.
Instant Exchange
Each month we offer selected Exchange Vacations at discounted Points values.
As well as the option to save your points for other uses, booking an Exchange Vacation featured in our Instant Exchange you could enjoy superior quality accommodation or stay at a resort that would usually require a higher points balance.
Late Booking Discounts
You can get up to 50% off points values all year round when you travel within 45 days of booking.
Book 45-31 days prior to check-in to save 10% on points values; Book 30-15 days in advance to save 25% or get a fantastic 50% off when you book 14 days prior to your check-in date.
Our Late Booking Discounts apply all year round to all points Exchange Vacations so this is a great way to experience some fantastic resorts and still have points left over for another vacation (or two!).
Cruise Exchange Vacations
If the idea of a cruise floats your boat, you can use your points (together with the relevant Exchange Fee) to choose from our range of worldwide Cruise Exchange Vacations.
Extra Vacation Sales
We often run special offers on Extra Vacations, which we’ll tell you about by email, on RCI.com and sometimes through printed mailings through the post. A discounted Extra Vacation gives you the chance to experience another RCI resort without using your points – as well as saving on the regular price. Our Extra Vacation fee is for the unit and not per person, so you can take as many friends and family members as it will accommodate.
