How to confirm a week on hold

If you have placed a week on hold and are ready to go ahead and reserve, here’s what you need to do:

Find your Reservation

Select ‘SEARCH FOR A HOLIDAY’ on the homepage, and click on ‘MY BOOKINGS’ to access the booking you placed on hold.

This will display your holiday plans. Click ‘ON HOLD’ to view the reservations you have temporarily reserved.

Click ‘CONFIRM RESERVATION’. This will take you through to verify and confirm your booking (see ‘RELATED TOPICS’ on how to book your Exchange Holiday for further information).

Note, if you no longer wish to keep the resort on hold, just hit ‘RELEASE RESERVATION’. If you do not confirm your reservation within 24 hours, it will be released back into the exchange system.


Confirm your Reservation


Step 1: Verify Details

You now have to confirm who is travelling. If another guest is holidaying, see ‘RELATED TOPICS’ for more information on adding Guest Certificates. If this holiday is for you, select ‘The RCI member is part of the travelling party’ and hit ‘CONTINUE’.


Step 2: Add Services

It’s now time to add Trading Power Protection which safeguards your holiday if you have to cancel. Leave the box ticked if you wish to add this. If you do not wish to purchase, simply untick the box. Then hit ‘CONTINUE’.


Step 3: Payment Information

Enter your payment information using our safe and secure online checkout.

If you’re an RCI Platinum member, don’t forget you can use your Member Rewards towards your transaction before we calculate your remaining balance.

For the ultimate convenience, you can also save your card details for future use. Just tick the ‘Use this card for future online transaction’ box.


Step 4: Confirm Reservation

Review your complete confirmation details, and tick the box at the bottom of the page to confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the resort’s urgent information. Select ‘CONFIRM’ and your exchange booking is complete.

Remember you can view your confirmation at any time by selecting ‘SEARCH FOR A HOLIDAY’ and ‘MY BOOKINGS’ on the homepage.

Need to cancel? If you need to cancel your Exchange Holiday reservation within 24 hours of booking, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after this time, you will not receive a refund.

Remember if you purchase Trading Power protection, your full Trading Power Value will be restored should you have to cancel for any reason.
