Melfort Village offers charming cottages furnished in comfortable country-house style. They boast fully-equipped 'farmhouse'kitchens, welcoming beds made up for your arrival and a full complement of large, fluffy towels. The cottages have the original features of the Victorian farm buildings, but the furnishings and decor are in modern farmhouse style. Electric heating is supplemented by open fires or wood-burning stoves. Each has a garden area outside. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

BY AIR: Fly to Glasgow airport (160km) or Edinburgh airport (210km). BY ROAD: From Carlisle follow signs for Glasgow (A74 or M74) then follow signs for M8, Erskine Bridge . From Glasgow/Erskine Bridge take the A82 to Tarbet, Loch Lomond, A83 to Lochgilphead and then the A816 to Kilmelford. From Edinburgh (131 miles) go via the A84, A85 to Oban and Kilmelford. The resort is situated on the coast road just south of Kilmelford, 1 and a 1/4 of a mile along a single track road posted Melfort.
