Destination Highlights

Off the coast of Venezuela lies the island of Aruba, a tropical paradise for scuba divers and snorkelers, sun worshippers, sailors, and honeymooners. Two reasons for its popularity—in addition to its abundant natural beauty and the turquoise Caribbean Ocean—is that Aruba has a mean temperature of 82° F. and very little rainfall. The capital city of Oranjsted, founded by the Dutch in 1796 on the picturesque western coast, is an historical city in which the Dutch-style houses combine open galleries and sloping, Aruban-style roofs. Along the wharf, merchants sell fresh fish and produce right off the boats every morning. It’s a beautiful city with much to enjoy and explore . . . just like the rest of the 20-mile long x 6-mile wide island.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Exit left out of Queen Beatrix Airport. Follow 1A through traffic circle exiting the 3rd right through downtown Oranjestad. Turn left at the stoplight by Ing Fatum building onto J E Irausquin Blvd. Continue to the resort on the left. Check in at the front desk at 4pm. Check out is at 12 noon. Friday check-in is in the member's lounge.
