Destination Highlights
Puerto Madryn is the national capital of diving and is famous for whale-watching. However, there's a lot of other wildlife to see such as penguins, sea lions and orcas, which are species often grouped in colonies and visible up close. Puerto Madryn is well known for tourism, and with its strategic location it has become the undisputed business region in the Patagonian coast. It's also the gateway to the Valdes Peninsula, declared by UNESCO in 1999 as a Natural Heritage Site.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
If you reach the city of Buenos Aires, take a domestic flight to Puerto Madryn or Trelew, located 60 km from Madryn. From Trelew, there is transportation that takes you directly to Madryn. On Route 3 that joins Trelew with Madryn, take the first roundabout and turn left onto Gales Avenue towards the sea, once there, turn left on Avenida Roca and find the resort on your left .
