Destination Highlights

Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than to any actual town. It is a special place, a unique leisure and recreation resort community. You have your choice of four fantastic golf courses, one very close to fantastic beaches. You can also have fun exploring the Cerro da Vila, Museum and Archaeological Site. Check out the Vilamouraténis Center. The sports facilities are excellent, and they include lawn bowling, swimming, golf, riding, squash, and shooting. In the evening enjoy a wonderful dinner and go to the casino and try a game of Portuguese dice.

BY AIR: Nearest Airport, Faro - 25kms. BY ROAD: From the airport, drive approx. 3km until you reach a fly over. Bear right and follow the EN125 to Portimao. After approx. 17kms, turn off at the traffic lights towards Vilamoura.
