Key Largo boasts some of the best swimming, diving, snorkeling, and fishing anywhere – and Florida Bay Club is ideally located at this gateway to the Florida Keys. Swim with the Dolphins at Dolphins Cove and the Dolphin Research Center. Key West is a short 2 hour trip to the southernmost point in the U.S. Divers can explore the USS Spiegel Grove, a 510-foot ship submerged near Dixie Shoals. Pennekamp State Park has a campsite, an aquarium, and the only living reef in the United States.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
Miami International Airport is 58 miles away. From the airport take the Florida Turnpike south and then U.S. 1 (at Florida City) south to Key Largo. Proceed to the resort, which is approximately four miles south of the Jewfish Creek Bridge. Turn right onto Churchill Downs Street at mile marker 103.5 just over the Adams Cut Water Way Bridge & the resort is on the right. If you reach Pink Plaza you are too far. From Ft. Lauderdale airport: follow signs to I-595 W and take the exit for Florida Turnpike Southbound. Proceed 10 miles and exit at the Florida Turnpike Extension/ Homestead exit, proceed to Florida City and follow the directions above to mile marker 103.5 and to the resort.
