Destination Highlights
This is a great destination for the nature lover. The mountains and nearby lake offer plenty of opportunities and activities. The lake is 15 miles away and all manner of water activities are available, such as water skiing and fishing. There is an area for cross-country skiing just 2 miles away and ski slopes can be found as well. If golf is your sport, then take a trip to one of the golf courses, just 8 miles away, and enjoy the fresh greens. If you are looking for nightly entertainment, a casino is just 35 miles away or stay near the resort to enjoy night clubs and restaurants in the local area. Attractions are also: Dollywood, Splash Country, Ripley's Museum, Ripley's Aquarium, Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
From the McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville take Hwy 129 North for 12 miles to I-40 East. Follow I-40 East to Exit 407 (Hwy 66) into Sevierville. Follow the signs to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg on Hwy 441. Continue on Hwy 441 to Gatlinburg. Turn left at Traffic Light number 3 onto Hwy 321. Mountain Loft Resort is two miles on the left. From the south, take I-40 to Exit 440 (Hwy 321). Stay on 321 until you reach MountainLoft Resort on the right.
