The Club Las Calas resort is located in Lanzarote's vibrant town, Puerto del Carmen. The one- and two-bedroom apartments are modern, spacious and all come complete with fully-equipped kitchens. Destination Highlights
Guests of Club Las Calas will be delighted to walk the three-mile stretch of the Avenida de las Playas, the main street of Puerto del Carmen. It cuts through the island's southern coast, with beaches on one side and many restaurants, bars, shops and other tourist attractions on the other. Guests can also make arrangements to go scuba diving, given the ideal diving conditions in the waters around the island year round. Water temperatures vary from 68 degrees in the winter to 74 degrees in the summer, and visibility averages over 80 feet to 100 feet. There are also plenty of opportunities for shopping, but guests shouldn't miss the Sunday outdoor market in the town of Teguise. While in the area, visitors will be astounded by the restored palaces, grand mansions, and the imposing Castillo de Santa Barbara.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
BY AIR: Nearest airport: Arrecife 10kms. BY ROAD: From the airport follow signs for Yaiza/Puerto del Carmen (LZ2). Take the Puerto del Carmen exit and stay on this road (LZ40) passing the petrol station on each side, signed for Puerto del Carmen. Take the 3rd exit signed Puerto del Carmen (approx 4.5km). At the roundabout go straight over following signs for Puerto del Carmen. Turn left into Calle Togio. At the roundabout turn right into Calle Garajonay. Take the next right into Calle Guayadeque and the resort reception and main entrance is on the right hand side.
