Hideaway has four apartments, located in a garden setting right in front of the Caribbean Sea. Although tucked away, the property is in close proximity to the main road between Grand Anse & the capital, St. George's, making travel very easy. The local bus service picks up right outside the entrance to the apartments & is a great way to experience the island. Taxi services are also plentiful & private tours can be arranged. Hideaway has two separate buildings located in a quaint westerly facing garden setting on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Coconut, Banana, Mango, Avocado & Sea Almond trees, along with several planted vegetables, flourish in the garden which stretches to the water's edge. For those interested in golf, the island's 9-hole golf course is located less than a mile away from the apartments. Several restaurants & bars are located with walking distance of the property & there's always evening entertainment on Grand Anse beach.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with four burner gas stove/oven, stand up refrigerator/freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker & built in cabinets with Corian counter tops. Bedrooms have individually controllable air conditioning units. All windows feature solar reflective glass to minimise interior temperatures as well as providing privacy. All windows as well as the patio door have fitted screens. All floors are tiled. The high ceilings & walls are painted to create a bright airy living space. The bedrooms feature mellow colour tones to aid restful sleep. The living room is furnished with a three piece suite with seating for four & a coffee table. Grenada has some of the finest diving in the Caribbean with colourful coral reefs, spectacular shipwrecks, exhilarating drift dives & a unique underwater sculpture park. With more than 50 sites of intriguing underwater wonder to be discovered, it’s no wonder that divers of all levels from around the world are attracted to our island. Several dive operators are located near the apartments offering SCUBA diving. For the more experienced, some dive operators also cater for CCR diving (Closed Circuit Rebreathers), providing CCR dives, courses to learn to dive with a CCR & even try-dives on these units. You can go for a swim in the crystal clear waters of Grand Anse Beach then go trekking through the rainforest of Seven Sisters Waterfalls, all within a day.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
From the airport follow the exit out to the roundabout and drive straight on. This is Maurice Bishop Highway. Go to the next roundabout and turn left, first exit. Continue to the next roundabout and follow signs for St Georges (turn right 3rd exit). Continue straight through the traffic lights. Continue on the road heading to St Georges. In about a half mile you will see a yellow sign for Hideaway Apartments on the left hand side. There is no driveway to the apartments, just a pathway. To unload, pull up on the side of the road, then walk down the steps and follow the path to the gate where you enter the apartments.
