The units are very spacious. The 3-bedroom units sleep 8, have 2 floors (bedrooms on upper level), 2 sitting areas and 2.5 bathrooms, as well as a full kitchen (no dishwasher) & dining area. There are 2 TVs in each unit. The master bedroom has a bathroom with shower (no tub) and there is a 3-piece bathroom on the second level to service the other bedrooms. There is a small 2-piece powder room on the main level. The 2-bedroom unit sleeping 6 is situated on the second floor with a 4-piece bathroom to service the bedrooms and a 2-piece powder room. Wi-Fi is available on the mail floors in all the units and on-site at no cost.

This resort offers an excellent location to use as a home-base to eco-tour the country of Costa Rica. Taranova-Villas Palmas is a small urban resort with a small unheated pool. This is not a resort to sit & lounge; most guests take tours leaving in the early morning and return early evening. Centrally located in the country of Costa Rica, it is just minutes to the center of the city of San Jose. A casino, shopping & restaurants are 3 blocks away. An on-site tour company is available for guest convenience.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
Villas Palmas is located ten miles from the San Jose Airport. From the airport, take the Pan-American Highway to San Jose. Then take the cut-off to "Holiday Inn” and go 300 meters East, then turn right and go one block south. Transportation from the airport to the resort is complimentary.
