Destination Highlights
Georgian Bay features more than 30,000 islands and 1,242 miles of shoreline. It offers towering pines, majestic cliffs, and endless, clear blue waters. Hailed as one of the premier beaches in Canada, Wasaga Beach is an ideal four-season destination and is located at the southern end of Georgian Bay, ninety minutes north of Toronto. The beach is contained in and around 8 miles of white sandy beach on Nottawasaga Bay. This south-central Ontario location offers fabulous activities for the whole family. During the summer, swim in the warm, clean, freshwaters and enjoy the panoramic mountain views across the bay. Take the family to the Nottawasaga River, which provides fishing and great canoeing expeditions. There are numerous recreational trails that you can hike and bicycle on, or go cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on in the winter.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
From Toronto International Airport, take Airport Road North. Collingwood is approximately 75 miles (120 km) away. Airport Rd turns into Hwy 26 and will take you directly into Collingwood. As you come into Collingwood, follow Hwy 26 W to Cranberry Mews. If you are arriving at Collingwood from Country Rd 124, follow to the end, turn Left on Hwy 26/First St., and go west to Cranberry Mews. Check-in is at 10 Keith Ave, Unit 303. Check-in is from Saturday, 4pm to 10pm. For check-in after hours, please contact the office at 1-705-444-5139 for information regarding late arrival.
