Destination Highlights
Bordered by the Hood Canal in front and the Olympic Mountains in back, Blue Heron is blessed with scenic surroundings. Washington's capital, Olympia, is a short drive from the resort. You can also venture into Seattle, about three hours away. In addition to the resort's many amenities, a private rocky beach is accessible just across the street via an over-street walkway. Also within driving distance are the Pacific Ocean beaches.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
The nearest airport is in Seattle, 2-3 hours away. From the airport, go South on I-5 to the Bremerton exit (HWY 16). Follow HWY 16 to HWY 3 South to HWY 106. Then go 15 miles to the Blue Herron. From Portland go North On I-5 to HWY 101 North past Shelton to HWY 106, Follow 7-8 miles to the Blue Herron Resort. (1/2 mile past union).
