The area is also home to the iconic Goodyear Blimp. Scuba divers can explore the area's natural reef, swim with groupers, or even explore a wreck. Golfers have a choice of 22 courses in the area. You can watch horse racing at Pompano Park Harness Track, Florida's only nighttime horse racing facility, or catch an NHL game of the Florida Panthers in nearby Fort Lauderdale. You can also enjoy biking and hiking trails at Quiet Waters Park and throughout the area. Directions from Major Airport to Resort
The Ft. Lauderdale Airport is 15 miles away. From the airport, take I-95 North to Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. Exit East (Right) to A1A Ocean Blvd. Turn Right (South) on A1A for 3/4 mile. After the first traffic light, the resort will be on the right-hand side of the road.
