Destination Highlights

Located on historic Route 66 in sunny San Bernardino County, the charming and unspoiled Southern California town of Helendale is best known as home to the Silver Lakes resort community. It is surrounded by two man-made lakes that cover over 275 acres. Silver Lakes is especially appealing to golfers, who sharpen their swing on a 27-hole PGA-rated course. Visitors to the area enjoy access to Disneyland (just over two hours by car) and overnights in nearby Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Ontario Int'l Airport, 70 miles away, take I-10 East to I-15 North toward Las Vegas. *In Victorville take the D Street/ Silver Lakes Exit (onto Route 66/National Trails Hwy.), Left under I-15 toward Silver Lakes, about 14 miles. Go to Vista Rd. (entrance to Silver Lakes Resort), and turn Left on Vista Rd. Cross the railroad tracks, then cross the bridge (2 miles to the stop sign). Check-in is halfway up the hill between Strawberry Lane and Lakeview Dr.
