La Casella is situated in Ficulle in the Umbria region of central Italy. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with unpaved roads in a valley full of poplar, oak, and larch trees, with a stream running through the property. If you have a car, the area could be used as a starting point for an excursion to Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Siena, Assisi, and Montepulciano. Guests can take a day trip to Firenze or Rome, both within a three-hour drive. The resort has horses and qualified staff to provide riding lessons or help organize hikes and excursions.

One-bedroom units sleep from two to four guests; two-bedroom units accommodate from four to six visitors. Bedrooms have a combination of king-size beds and twin beds. All units feature kitchens or kitchenettes for guest convenience. Separate dining area is available. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the covered porch with additional seating. Spend breakfast or lunchtime overlooking the valley and watch the horses work out. Tiled bathrooms have toilets as well as bidets. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

BY AIR: Roma Fiumicino Airport is 170 km. From Roma Fiumicino take the motorway toward Rome and turn onto Grande Raccordo Anulare heading north toward Firenze. Take the A1 motorway North towards Firenze and exit at Fabro. At Fabro follow SP52 toward Parrano. From Fabro DO NOT follow the GPS instructions and contact the resort for detailed driving directions. About 2 km before Parrano, the road goes over a small bridge and just as it begins to climb, you will find a road sign toward La Casella on the right. The road is called SP103 and is unpaved for the next 6 km. At the gateway turn left into La Casella and the reception area is in the main building on the right.
