Built for Sir John Brownlow in the 1680s, Belton House has all the design features of a classic English country home. Situated in formal Italian and Dutch gardens and a historic 1300 acre deer park, Belton is often cited as the quintessential country house estate.The Easton Estate is a traditional rural estate set in the rolling countryside of the Lincolnshire/Rutland borders. The Garden and Tea Room is five-star rated and offers locally sourced meals and refreshments. The many gardens are perfect for strolling, like the Woodland Walk which features beautiful old tress, like black walnut, and many flowers and herbs.Other local highlights include Woolsthorpe Manor, the family home and birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton, Belvoir Castle, Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle, a major castle built in the late 11th century by William the Conqueror on the site of a pre-existing Roman fortress.

Leave East Midlands airport and follow signs for M1 motorway. At the main M1 roundabout take first exit following A453 - Nottingham. At the next roundabout continue to follow A453 Nottingham. After approx 10 miles take the road signed Grantham A52. Continue on A52 for approx 20 miles - at the roundabout take 2nd exit onto Barrowby Road A607 and follow the A607 for 2 milesto desination.
