Guests at the Lodges enjoy access to Lake Placid Resort Beach on Mirror Lake Drive, a public beach, adjacent to the Lodges. Guests also get discounts for Mountain Course golfing as well as horseback riding at Emerald Springs Ranch and tickets for Whiteface Mountain, and access to the Cross-Country Ski Center and Lake Placid Health and Fitness Center at no extra charge. The fitness center also has a cozy lounge with fireplace, and pro shop.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort
FROM ADIRONDACK AIRPORT IN SARANAC LAKE: follow RT 86 to Lake Placid and through the town to the third light. Turn left at the light, following Morningside Dr to the stop sign. Turn left onto Lake Placid Club Way and the Algonquin Lodge is on the left FROM ALBANY: Take I87 N. to exit 30 left off the ramp onto RT 9 for 2 miles to RT 73 for 26 miles to Lake Placid. At the first ligt in Lake Placid go straight following Morningside Dr to the stop sign. Turn left onto Lake Placid Club Way and the Algonquin Lodge is on the left. FROM MONTREAL AREA: Take I87 south to exit #34 take 9N towards Au Sable Fork, go 16.5 miles, turn right on RT 86 in Wilmington. Go 17 miles turn right at Morningside Dr.
