Timing is everything
To help your holiday planning go smoothly, we recommend depositing early. New weeks are coming into the system every day so depositing early can help you find the perfect exchange! The best time to deposit is at least nine months before your ownership week’s start date. Not only will you have more time to search, but you can ensure that you get the maximum Deposit Trading Power available for your week, your trading power starts to decrease.

Your deposit process may vary based on the resort, while others can deposit on RCI.com. If you don’t know your deposit process, check the “Manage Your Deposits” section of your RCI.com account or go to RCI.com/deposittypes.
When will you go?
Depositing at least a year before your week’s start date gives you the most amount of time
to travel against your deposit: One year before the week’s start date, through two years after the state date. A three-year travel window will help you get away when it’s best for your hectic schedule. Take a look at how the travel window works below.
2 years before check-in
Maximise your Deposit Trading Power by depositing early
9 months before check-in
Is the latest you can deposit to receive 100% of the Deposit Trading Power available for your week. Deposit Trading Power will decrease after this point.
Deposit check-in date
Is the date that your holiday ownership week begins.
End of travel window
If you do not travel by 2 years after your deposit’s check-in date, the deposit will expire and you will be able to use it for an exchange hioliday.
