as ‘the soft coral capital of the world’, the island country is the perfect place to snorkel, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned swimmer. First-timers have dozens of shallow snorkel sites close to shore rife with rich marine life to explore. For a closer look at Fiji’s extensive aquatic life, the Namena Marine Reserve is an
excellent choice. Creatures including sea turtles, blue ribbon eels and tiger sharks roam freely among sea fans and coral.
You can also traverse the depths of the Somosomo Strait to witness the glory of the Rainbow Reef, a kaleidoscopic marvel that is
home to equally iridescent fauna. Dive in and you’ll find yourself
