Ongoing Search simply places you on a waitlist while it searches for your ideal holiday. Key in your desired holiday criteria and RCI will be on the lookout for relevant locations 24/7, notifying you once a resort match is found. It’s a simple, hassle-free way to turn your dream holiday into reality.
WHY SHOULD I START AN ONGOING SEARCH?
• Save time and avoid hassle: When you start an Ongoing Search, RCI does the work for you. We search 24/7 for your ideal holiday, based on the criteria you enter, eliminating the need for you to check the latest in travel offers manually. RCI will keep you updated on the search progress and notify you as soon as a match is found. You can even set your Ongoing Search to Auto-Confirm so RCI will confirm and book your dream holiday once it has been found.
• Get prioritised access to member deposited inventory: When you start an Ongoing Search, you are placed in the priority queue for new member deposited inventory, giving you a better chance of finding your desired holiday match.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Starting an Ongoing Search is easy. Just sign in to your account on RCI.com and search for a holiday using your desired criteria. If you are not able to find the exchange holiday you want, you are automatically given the option to start an Ongoing Search, already filled in with pre-populated criteria based on your previous search. Furthermore, you can modify your search based on the following criteria:
• Destination: Search by region, city or specific resort.
• Click to Change: Customise your search to meet your personal holiday needs. You can specify the type of
holiday that appears in your search results as well as choose to see all available exchange holidays.
• Date: You can enter a specific date or a travel window.
• Accommodation: You can narrow your search by number of guests, unit size and check-in day.
