“An ultra high-powered 4WD brought us deep into the heart of Mt.Tamborine National Park in Queensland, Australia, where we were able to experience the wonders of a 20 million years old rainforest, understand the evolution of the ancient rainforest plants and history of the aborigines. This picture shows a tower- ing ancient tree that is over 2,500 years old, which spans 3m in diameter. It is so huge that even my mother and I (Li Ji-Xuan) could only reach halfway round its trunk.”
