TreK Through The JuNgLe
With about 12,000 hectares of lush rainforests, refreshing mountain streams, waterfalls and a colourful menagerie of birds and mammals, Tioman is an excellent trekking destination.
Embark on a 7 kilometre, four-hour trek along the tekek - Juana trail. Walk through the hills for exciting encounters with monkeys, monitor lizards, scores of birds, insects and centuries-old trees. Then relax amidst the golden sands of Juana beach on the other side of the island.
Other popular treks cover trails across the villages of Gentling, Pay, Air Bating and Salang, with stops at Monkey Bay. Be sure to load up on water, snacks and insect repellent for a safe and enjoyable hike.
