Glossary of terms
Affiliated Resort
A resort, resort group or holiday club with which RCI has a contractual agreement to offer the RCI Weeks Exchange Program.
Bonus Week Getaways
Excess exchange inventory available for cash (no deposit required). Normally only available for last minute travel dates.
Booking Confirmation
The written notice confirming that accommodations have been reserved for the member.
Combined Deposits
The combination of two or more Deposits and/or Deposit Credits.
Confirmed Exchange
An exchange for which a written confirmation notice has been issued.
Deposit
The placing of a holiday week into RCI’s exchange pool by or on behalf of a member. Deposits are not valid unless verified by the home resort and maintenance levies have been paid.
Deposit Credit
A week placed on a member’s account
after the member exchanges using a Deposit which has a Trading Power that is greater than the Exchange Trading Power. The Deposit Credit Trading Power is the difference between the applicable Deposit Trading Power and the applicable Exchange Trading Power.
